Summary


Manage large, technical, complex (higher risk) projects safely, on time and on budget to ensure financial goals.  Proactively communicates with a focus on removing roadblocks and providing solutions and developing and maintaining positive, trusting working relationships internally and externally with customers, suppliers and business partners
 
This position requires on-site work, regular site visits and attendance at all required project-related meetings


Responsibilities


-- Ensure team understands the notification time frames and requirements 
-- Responsible to determine and schedule preplanning meetings, project kick offs, mid-term, and job close outs
-- Support team in all manners, delegating as required to ensure timelines are met
-- Communicate the budget and track all modifications of scope, via RFI’s and/or change orders
-- Accountable to prepare and submit timely WIP reports monthly and accurately forecast cost to complete
-- Can turn around any sized project that is in trouble
-- Responsible for review and verification of all subcontracts and major equipment purchase orders, and invoice sign off
-- Responsible to ensure all team members have the most current information (RFI’s, Schedules, Drawings, etc.)
-- Ensure submittal packages are compiled, submitted, reviewed, and approved prior to release
-- Process monthly billings on each project under construction per Contract requirements and company guidelines
-- Point of contact for all communications
-- Manages all correspondence between the General Contractor, the team, and any subcontractors
-- Ability to give/receive constructive feedback. Support, create, cultivate, and maintain positive relationships with customers,
    vendors, and team members
-- Work collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation
-- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

-- Ability to perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation and without posing a direct threat to
     safety or health of employee or others.

-- 4+ years related project management experience in HVAC or construction industry; or equivalent combination of education and
     experience. GED/Diploma 

-- Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university in related field such as Engineering, Architecture,
     Construction Management, or equivalent applicable degree is preferred, but not required

-- 8-15 years in commercial/industrial HVAC industry. GED/Diploma and Journeyman certificate required. Associates degree in
     management is preferred
